The Veterans Practice Area aims to empower Florida's attorneys by assisting with training and providing an up-to-date library of resources of all kinds. We also work to cultivate and support Florida's community of advocates by providing a state-wide network to share information.

The Veterans Practice Area is guided by the leadership of Practice Area leader James W. Heaton, supervising attorney for the MISSION UNITED Veterans Pro Bono Project at Legal Aid Service of Broward County and Alison DeBelder with Florida Justice Technology Center.
